The lace jumper

White floral lace, a gold zipper and a silhouette that refused to behave like a tennis dress.

The story behind the look

Venus designed this Wimbledon outfit through her EleVen label and called it a jumper. The loose, split-shoulder bodice flowed into shorts, with a long gold zip and fine gold waist trim anchoring the shape.

A large rear opening completed the unconventional construction. The paired tournament photographs show both sides of the garment, allowing the rear reconstruction to follow the documented opening rather than invent one.
