The story behind the look

For the second round of women’s doubles, Williams wore a custom design by Who Decides War. Mesh, stretch fabric and embellished matte leather trim turned the garment into a study in contrasting textures.

The strips of the skirt separated in movement, while vertical embellishments drew the eye through the bodice. This was part of the designer wardrobe Williams assembled with stylist Ronald Burton III for her New York return.
