The story behind the look

Taylor Townsend’s custom red US Open dress was designed by Anthony Lattimore, with J. Bolin directing the look. White contour lines shape the corset-inspired bodice; black side panels, mesh and hand-beaded red crystal fringe add definition and movement.

Townsend wore the red, white and black look for her first-round match against Maja Chwalinska on August 31, 2026. She won 6–2, 6–3.
