The story behind the look

Williams arrived at the 2007 Australian Open ranked No. 81 and went on to win the title, defeating Maria Sharapova in the final. Her lime green dress with yellow straps is part of that comeback’s visual history.

This was a one-piece dress. It should not be confused with the yellow crop top and skirt she wore in Melbourne in 2016.
