The story behind the look

Garbiñe Muguruza wore the adidas Y-Dress from the PRIMEBLUE x HEAT.RDY collection at the 2021 Australian Open. From the front, its navy body appears relatively restrained. The yellow underlayer becomes more prominent at the sides and back, where a broad opening interrupts the outline.

That opening makes the layered construction the main design feature. A navy upper back sits above a bright support band, while the skirt begins beneath another yellow edge. The reconstruction follows the collection’s front and rear photographs as well as Muguruza’s tournament appearance, retaining the contrast between dark mesh and vivid yellow.
