The story behind the look

Marta Kostyuk and Wilson developed the Marta Dress 2.0 for Wimbledon in 2026. The layered white set builds on her earlier wedding-inspired tennis dress, using stretch technical lace and a two-tier skirt. An inner support top sits beneath a more open scoop-neck lace layer.

With colour held to white, the distinctions come from transparency, floral texture and the changing edges of the skirt. The layers give the outfit a light, ballet-like quality while retaining the structure of competition clothing. The reconstruction follows the tournament photographs and Wilson’s account of the design; the exact lace repeat is interpreted.
