The story behind the look

Wilson designer Joelle Michaeloff adapted Kostyuk’s wedding dress for competition, retaining the simple V-neck and open back while adding built-in shorts.

Kostyuk wore the tennis version at Wimbledon in 2024. This reconstruction shows the playing dress; a removable sheer overdress completed her entrance. The reference comes from Wilson’s promotional shoot.
